Zorin Start button hijacked by Ubuntu start button this AM

I installed Zorin 6.1 Core 64-bit yesterday or day before and updated. I was pestered by that Opera thing, even though I don't install it. So I changed from US to Main and updated, same thing. Today it didn't happen, but before updates were installed the Start button changed. Also, could someone look at the Ubuntu Update, since the screen doesn't open right, I had to scroll all the way to the right to see the Click, etc. Glad I know Synaptic, some Newbies might not.
