New to Linux

Hi all,

I started using Linux 2 days ago.
First started with Ubuntu 12.10, and quite soon I changed to Zorin.
Had some problems configuring a higher resolution but eventuellay made it work @ 1280x1024.

I have some questions though:

- Is there an easy way to change the desktop icon font? They are quite hard to read.
- When I search for something in the GnoMenu, often things simply don't show up.
For example, when I search for a program called 'SABnzbd' , it shows up when I type 'sab' and
dissapears when I type the following letter (n). Same issue for a lot of other programs like KeePass
for example, it only shows when typing 'ke' and dissapears when typing further. The program
'Screenshot' also has this issue, so not only custom installed ones. Worse, some programs require
typing some letters 'in the middle' instead of the first couple of letters.
- When installing KeePass, everything went and worked fine, but since this morning I cannot copy/paste out of the program Window.
- And lastly, in the time and date settings I changed the format to 24h.
But nothing changes, it still reads ´2:14 PM

I really hope some can help resolve some of this issues.

Regards,

Nick.
