Hey guys! how are you?

Well... i have a problem installing apps and updates. When i try, opens a window telling me that I have connection problems (IP not found WTF?). I don't use a proxy, i don't have connection problems. I used internet normally... I tried in many ways, but... nothing. I recently installed this OS. With Ubuntu 12.10 didn't have this problem.

Sorry for my english, i speak native spanish from Argentina.

Regards!

Puedo traducir para usted después de respuestas Swarfendor Madvinegar o su pregunta como lo que hay que hacer. A su vez no tendrá ninguna preocupación sobre la falta de comunicación en el asesoramiento dado por uno de los moderadores.

I can Translate for you after Swarfendor or Madvinegar answers your question as what needs to be done. In turn you won't have any worries over miscommunication on advice given by one of the Moderators.

Code:

Also, what version of zorin are you using and what are the specs of your PC?

Yes i have. English is only language available (black font). I press button "Install/Remove Languages", select Spanish, "Apply" and shoot the window that i posted before.

After you write in terminal the command
sudo lshw -c network
please wait 5-6 seconds to get back the result.

As regards the language problem, try changing the update server from "main" to your own country's server (i.e. Argentina(?)).
To do that, open "update manager" from the zorin menu, a window will open, click on the button that says "settings" on the lower left corner. A new window will open with various tabs. Open the 1st tab named "ubuntu software" and in the middle that says "download from" (or "use server from"), change it from "main" to "Argentina" (or to whatever your country is). Click on "close", exit, and try again to change your language.
