Zorin 6.1 crash error

I installed Zorin 6.2 on my laptop. I the middle of updating the laptop got shut off. It wouldn't boot normally. I Have cleaned the disc drive and tried to re install. I get an error that it won't load on the drive. It claims my drive may be bad and then goes to a installation crash error. This is a brand new HD.
