Grub.conf and Grub.cfg

Hey guys, I'm doing some homework for my Linux Administration class and it asks me to look at and edit the grub.conf file in the /boot/grub directory. The problem is that there is no such file on my Zorin installation but there is a grub.cfg file in the /boot/grub directory and assumed that it is the same as grub.conf. This is due tonight, so if possible please answer asap. You should know that the book assumes that Fedora is installed but is not the case for me. Thanks.

the file you would use to compare would be the grub.cfg file. This is your configuration file for grub. be warned tho, don't make any changes to it or it may make your system unbootable.

I thought so, just wanted to be sure. Thank you efwis.

I am aware of the dangers of editing the file, I will only be editing the grub.cfg file in the manner that the book tells me.
