so i have been trying to install zorin and had hard time trying to burn the iso finally got 1 to work next problem was i tried to install to wd green desk top 1 tb hd brand new out of the box vrgin then the problems started i got error verifying data on disc sector offset 16-31 32-47 and so on all the way down the line so burned another disk from fire fox it worked let me boot in to live cd so i tried to do install got to filling out the data name keybord etc then i get vesamenu.32:not a com 32r image back to the boards found soultion tabe live enter or tab install enter then i get could not find kernel image:/casper/vnlinuz then i tried from usbfd using unetbootin-windows-583 this time i get clean the cd so any help would be great but with all this trouble trying to install i am no longer shure its worth it ?

Works way better than Unetbootin !!!

ok so using datek1 sugestion i tryed again with no luck i have even used Zorin 6 Help Guide - from where to download it to post-install and other tweaks.pdf which i found on this site and went to the following sites and downloaded from each of them

with no luck i used the check sum tool WinMD5 and got no matches so i starting searching p2p sites and found one with a match and am posting the results and still no joy

"could not find kernel image /casper/vmlinuz

when using pendrivelinux, make sure to format the usb drive so it has the right file system (fat32), otherwise syslinux will throw an error.

if the usb drive boots but throws an error like in the title above, check if there’s a file called vmlinuz in the casper directory. if there’s only a vmlinuz.efi file, copy it and rename it to vmlinuz. booting the kernel should work after this."
