Can ZORIN be downloaded as an EXE file as opposed to an ISO? I don not have the ability to burn a cd. If no where do I buy a CD? Price? Sources?

Hi,

if you can't burn a CD, download the ISO and create a USB boot drive using one of the following Windows tools:

I bought the LIVE CD for installation based on the fact that it is open source and looks similar to XP. Am I correct? Similar START menu, downloading third party programs like browsers, word processors, ect? Built in browser, media player without the need for codecs? Am I on the right track? I tried LINUX MINT. Did not like it. Worked nothing like XP. Could not figure out how to install and drag the icon for FF onto the desktop. Could not download and install a third party desktop background. The included backgrounds were not to my liking. I hope this will be more like XP. If not lost minimal #s. Any insight and advice welcome.

CDOS.com. I think. They sell many LINUX and UMBUNTU OS on cd. They are $6. I tried MINT. Installed as designed. Did not like how it worked. NOT intuitive. Difficult to use and set up. I was told ZORIN is more like XP.

Hi,

you never need to buy CD's, you can download any ISO file from this website (after following the various links for a particular brand of Linux!) and create a USB bootable OS using the links I provided earlier in this thread:
