Acidrip

I have a new Dvd and was going to rip it and i usually use acidrip with good results with this DVD acidrip will not even read it
The computer can find the DVD tells me its there but not acidrip any help

Hi David,

I assume that you have installed the "Medibuntu repo PPA" and that you have the packages "libdvdcss2" and "non-free-codecs" installed??.

From your pic, I can deduce that the DVD is faulty because it shows you using VLC player??. Have you tried the DVD on another PC and does it work??.

Other packages you might want to check as to whether or not they are installed; but I cannot say whether or not they will help you much.
