Hi and welcome,

firstly try using a network cable to update the system fully, once you have done that, go to System Settings > Hardware > Additional Drivers and see if it offers you the Broadcom Drivers.

Let us know if this helps!!.

See this thread about updating:

If WM's suggestion does not work, please provide the result of the following commands so as to see exactly the ID of your card and the driver you need.

lspci -nn
sudo lshw -c network
sudo rfkill list all

Hi,

I can only suggest you walk over to your neighbour and borrow his network cable as it would make things a whole lot easier and update quickly while you are there!!.

Did you try out the live CD and did the WiFi etc work??.

Otherwise, please wait for madvinegar to help you as he is the Wifi specialist!!.

Your card ((Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller [14e4:4727]) does not need any proprietary driver.
It needs olnly the native drivers that come with the Kernel.
First of all you need ubuntu tweak to remove some "remnants" that are left behind when we remove the proprietary drivers.
I think that ubuntu tweak comes pre-installed with zorin. In case you don't have it, you can install it as follows. In terminal:
Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak

Next, you remove the Broadcom STA proprietary drivers from the "additional drivers". To open "additional drivers" write in terminal:
Code:
jockey-gtk

and then select to remove/disable the Broadcom STA driver.

Finally, you open ubuntu tweak (that we install in step1), you go to "janitor" and then to the tab named "package configs".
You delete all the files in "package configs" and more especially the file called "bcmwl-kernel-source" that relates to the proprietary drivers.

Then you reboot and hopefully your wifi will be working.

In case the above has not solved your problem, as WM says, find a way to get internet via ethernet and firstly fully update your system, and then follow the above procedure again.

the broadcom sta wireless driver is already deactivated ,
I've deleted the file bcmwl-kernel-source (it was only shown)
but still no available network ...... i dont know why ,
previously i used ubuntu 12.04 and wireless work as perfect
and zorin too ,
but now i'm confused about this :( :( :(
at last , I think the only way remaining is to try the idea of WM
any way ,madvinegar thank you for your help

As I said, in case the above doesn't work, firstly update fully your system and then try again.

Believe me, this is how your card (14e4:4727) will work. I have solved the issue on too many computers that use your exact card ID.

Try the grep command with '0280'

If you are talking about a USB dongle, you need to run
Code:
lsusb

to see the results.

Please post here the results.

Swarf, to get your dongle working (pardon my expression... ) do the following:

Download from here: http://av3ngr.wikispaces.com/file/view/0846_9011.tar.gz the correct inf files and use them with ndiswrapper.
Select either the 32bit inf or the 64bit inf according to your system.
