[SOLVED] AMD Graphic Driver Spoil everything

hi !
yesterday i finished customizing my zorin
then i tried to install Amd Driver.run (extension .run)
after installation and reboot everything gone nothing to open just after blue boot screen i got a black screen like console remain

dont tell me to install it from addtion. driver cuz my net is to slow to install it (60kb/s) useless
is there any safe way to install the driver file (.run)

Hi,

Do the following:

1. Restart in recovery mode and run "FSCK" then restart again using Ctrl + Alt+ Del.

2. Select recovery mode again and this time select "Drop to root shell" and type the following command:

sudo dpkg --configure -a (write this command down as you will need to enter it in the root shell!!)

and once done, restart again.

3. In recovery mode for the 3rd time, activate "Network" and then "DPKG" and say "Y" when asked, restart again and this time normally and see what happens.

hmmmm sorry i post this thread after i made a fresh install of zorin again i just want to know what problem and what the solution
im not going to install it again (at least right now)
i did a fresh install of zorin yesterday 3 times because of this issue

just for future reference.

Restart in Advanced Options > Recovery, start the network connection and then click on root shell and enter the following:

sudo apt-get remove fglrx

That should remove any ATI drivers etc from your PC!!.
