Zorin and Acer Aspire One AO722 NetBook

Hello Just installed and really like the way it looks. I seem to be having netcard driver issues. I can connect to network through wired connection but it keeps dropping and re-Connecting every few minutes. Does anyone know what this might be or how to fix it. I can go get the windows driver but would rather use a Linux driver. Any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

for now, try updating per this guide:

and see if things improve, did you click on "Install this third party software" and on "Install updates" when you installed which would have most likely included the WiFI drivers for your rig!!??. (Madvinegar can help you with that!)

Right click the network icon and "Edit", click on "Wired connection" > Edit > General and make sure that it is available for all users and to connect automatically, also look at the IPV4 & 6 settings and make sure they both say "Auto".

Update using a network cable only and do it from the "Recovery Menu".

Please post back the results of the following commands so as to check what wireless card you have and what firmware you need.

lspci -nn
lsusb
sudo lshw -c network
sudo rfkill list all
