(SOLVED) K3B trouble

The above
iam having trouble burning with K3b
have tried others and thy will not burn ether i must be missing something (maybe brains)
any help

did you leave the "Writing Mode" set to "Auto?, you should have set it to the lowest possible speed available!. Have you used the disk burner before and did it sucessfully burn disks without problems??.

Did you open Synaptic and right click k3b and add the suggested packages?.

Have you tried a different burner app like Brasero which would tell us that the burner and/or disks are okay!!.

when burning a ISO, don't burn at the highest speed.
once the target ISO is specified, & before you hit the burn button,
- change the burn speed towards the low end of whatever the burner can handle.
once you have done this a few times, & are familiar with the burner,
then you can increase the speed a little, to get faster results. ..

that error seems to suggest that the burn speed is set too high,
- try going for a much lower speed, & don't use 'Auto'

Had to replace my dvd, i tested it with Win7 as well and it did not work, replaced it ,all well now i hope
