Hello,
today I downloaded the Zorin 7 Core 32 Bit, after installing it on one of my laptops I decided to try it on my older laptop too. But before the installer starts it says:
This kernel requires the following features not present on the CPU: pae

Unable to boot -- please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU.

I googled a bit and saw something about Ubuntu and how it can be used with more than 4GB Ram but it didn't helped much.
The problem appears on an very old HP Compaq NC6000 with Intel Cpu and 1,5GB Ram.

I don't know how to install it now maybe someone can help me.
Thank you,
Theleon

Hi,

this more or less explains what you need to know:

On the older PC, you might want to try Zorin Lite ver 6, click on "Lite"!.
