kazam instability

Is anyone familiar with this issue. The symptoms on my system is to cause flash to break during a broadcast. Each this happens I have to force a reboot to resolve problem. My hardware is using a gig graphic card but still cannot cope.

Would an upgrade to Zorin 7 sort these application issues out.?

I make sure to update the system with apt-get at least three times per week. Certainly, everytime I install an app.

As for my graphics, I am using Nvidia GForce GTX 280M.

According to Gnome's Nvidia X Server settings the driver version is 304.88

Lately, I am finding it is not just Kazam that is causing my system to freez. Anything from Xsane, Lucky backup. I am using seven port usb hub, and recently finding if I don't connect my mouse and keyboard onto the onboard slots, peripherals can also stop outputting my key commands. It's all pointing to driver issues, don't you think? Which brings me back to the earlier question, whether I should upgrade or downgrade.?

Hi,

I installed Zorin 7 on a friends PC recently and he has a USB speaker set which caused all sorts of problems with input/output and false messages, try moving your USB devices around on different ports and only plug them in one after the other making sure that the one you have plugged in works before connecting the next one!!. He too was using a USB hub!.
