Workspace switching...

For the life of me, I can't get CTL-ALT-Left arrow or Right arrow to switch workspaces. I have even went in to Compiz and made sure I had more than one desktop.

My laptop at work is flawless.

I am running dual monitors, so I don't know if that matters or not, but figured I would throw that out there.

BTW, loving Zorin 7!!!! Thanks guys!!!

Hi,

this guy said that he did it with Compiz settings:

Have you looked at the keyboard settings?:

System Settings > Hardware > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Navigation

and change or look at the settings there!.

I checked and everything is enabled correctly in Compiz.

It's not a huge big deal, just a cool feature I use every now and again.

Hi,

did you find anything in the sytem settings like I suggested or can we mark this as "Solved" as I don't really know what else to suggest ?.

Yeah, it just seems that no matter what I do, it doesn't work. Every other keyboard shortcut is flawless, except the ones that switch workspaces.

Do you think it's a dual monitor issue??

I reckon that the workspace switcher is a great thing,
- I just click on the one that I want to switch to !
I usually reduce the available number of work places, - to three, though.
