Adobe flash downgrade?!

epoche

Once I installed Zorin 7 Lite I was impressed that adobe flash 11.8 had already been installed.
After an upgrade of the system, and the new version of Chrome, surprise, I have now 11.7 version.
How come?
Yes, I know that it is supported no more in Linux, but I thought that it was installed like pepper flash player.
What is to do to have it back?

Hi,

remove flash by opening Synaptic and right clcik it and mark it for complete removal and download the deb package from here:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

Make sure you lock the version in Synaptic once you install it or it will update again!. Synaptic > Package > Lock Version (After marking package you want to lock!)

Hi Wolfman,
the deb package from adobe (the link you indicated) is 11.2.
I have now 11.7! I want to have back the version 11.8, not downgrade to 11.2 ;)
Thanks!

Hi epoche,

you could try changing your download location for your software sources and see if that gives you the version you want, see this guide and the part about changing software download location:
