Hi Guys,

I am still experimenting and have installed Virtualbox running Windows XP. All went ok but I can't figure out how to access my drives or any programs already on my PC.

Can anyone give me some pointers?

Cheers

Uzi

Thanx! So did it help you? Should we mark the topic as "solved"?

Hi MV,

Yes it helped a lot but I think you need to update your link. After I followed your guide, I got stuck trying to find the folder. Nothing I tried worked & the bit about

go to “windows network” (this can be located if you open the win-nautilus in the list on the left side) and expand it.

made no sense as nothing like that was there. I found that I needed to have Guest Additions installed 1st which was in step 4 but you told me to start at step 5. Anyway I got there but I still couldn't find the folder until I went back to the Shared Folders - and EDIT then checked the box 'Auto Mount'. Now the folder appears in My Computer as Network drive (E).

Job done - thanks again :D
