Laptop specs:

sony vaio
intel i7 740
nvidia geforce 330m
1080p display
Zorin OS 4

I just finished installing the drivers I need to "Use desktop effects and 3D" on my laptop through zorin. After restarting my computer i got completely locked out of zorin. Originally, after installing zorin os 4 originally i was left with two boot options instead of one. Both option led me to the same place so i left it be. Now, if I try and boot from the first option i get a sort of blue, light blue and white loading bar at the bottom of my screen and then it disappears and im left with a completely blank screen. If I boot from the second option i see the normal zorin loading screen (Part of an octagon rotating around the emblem with the "Z" inside), then the octagon disappears and im left with a static screen with the zorin emblem in the center and nowhere to go. My computer is now a giant paper weight, PLEASE HELP!

I have no way to enter safe mode that I can see. If i can't find another solution i will just boot off of an external get my files off and re-install the OS. Is there anything i can do from BIOS or GRUB to maybe uninstall the drivers?
