no sound in Chrome

Hi
I switched to Chrome from the Fox due to Fox's slow operation on youtube.

After the machine is on for an hour or so, you tube will play the video way slower than any sound.

All speech and such is out of sinc.
I tried Chrome and it will not play sound, and neither will opera.

Whats the solution to this issue.

Also my wireless connection gets slow and my other machine with XP on it is fine on the same network

OS 7 ULTIMATE
VIDEO CARD IS A RADEON 9600PRO ADVANTAGE
SOUND IS BY A PENGUIN EXTERNAL USB DEVICE (THAT WORKS WITH FOX)
THE FOX WORKS GREAT ON YOU TUBE FOR A WHILE, BUT THEN JUST CRAWLS WITH SOUND AND VIDEO OUT OF SINC.
I HAVE CHECKED AND MY NETWORK IS WORKING FINE.

WE HAVE A MIFI LIBERATE CELLULAR AS WE LIVE WHERE THERE IS NOT ANY FIOS OR OTHER CHOICES.

Hi SR,

You must install the medibuntu repo prior to installing the packages I recommend!.

Check out if you have your graphics card drivers installed too and don't forget to do a full update after installing said drivers!.

MV can maybe help you with your WiFi problem.
