[SOLVED] ZorinWM and AWN not starting up/not responding

run "DPKG" per this guide:

(A network cable is required for the above!).

Hi,

you can take a look at the update guide which may hold another answer for you:

That way you can get around worrying about using a network cable!.

What I suggest is you start your PC normally and don't worry initially about your problem, open a terminal with "Ctrl + Alt + t" and copy & paste this command:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Afterwards, restart your PC with Ctrl + Alt + Del and see if it fixes anything for you.
