can not burn dvd

I've try ever Linux program I can find, as well as every windows program I can find and none of them will burn a dvd!
The builtin burner for the dvd drive will burn, but the resulting disc will not play!
I create videos and if I can't do it in Zorin I wll be forced to return to Windows!

Please help!

If you are burning too fast, you will get errors on the disks, have you tried "k3b" ?.
