First Stop: Zorin FAQ
My wireless networking isn't working. How do I get it to work?
If your wireless networking is not working automatically please check the "Additional Drivers" program in Zorin OS to see if there are any third-party drivers available for your wireless card

Where? Where is that?
Additional Drivers doesn't seem to exist in Zorin 7, been looking for hours

Thanks

Hi Garry,

In Zorin OS 7, the additional drivers tool is now intergrated in Synaptic, open Synaptic > Settings > Repositories > Additional Drivers and select the recommended driver should it be shown.

Nvidia and ATI graphic card drivers should also be shown, older ATI card drivers may not be available and I advise you to use the onboard drivers if you have an older ATI graphics card!.

For Nvidia cards, see also:

Could you also post here the results of the following terminal commands:

lspci -nn | grep 0280
lsusb
sudo lshw -c network
sudo rfkill list all

Thanks, I'm trying, it keeps saying System Problem Detected, do I want to report the problem now,
I get stuck in this loop
I guess I got a hardware issue.

how do I do like a yum update?

Have you been using Fedora? (I think yum is for Fedora).

To do a system update in Zorin:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Ps. You need internet for the above (i.e. via ethernet cable)
