[MOVED] Headphone problem

Hi ,

I'm using Zorin 7 , when I'm trying to plug in my head phone there is no sound , I tried to change sound settings from menu bar but there is no change ( still no sound ),
note : the normal speakers are working fine ,
please help me to make my headphones to work .

Have you looked at:

Menu | System Tools | System Settings | Sound ?

Have you looked at what 'Outputs' are available?

If Zorin 7 I cannot help, as I am on Zorin 6!

Hi,

please see this thread and install the packages as suggested, use the Pulse Audio Manger to check your settings once installed:

In "Output Devices"; you must change the port from "Analogue" to "Headphones"!!:
