sdb1 as ext4 11.92GiB
sbd2 as extended 3.00GiB
sba5 as linux-swap 3.00GiB

My question is can I ( DEL ) sbd2 as extended and the unallocated to gain back space?

Hi,

you only have 1MB of disk space left!, it is not worth the effort, a complete guide to partitioning is here:

Please post a screenshot of your partitions.

Hope it helps.

Thank Wolfman

Is it possible to gain back partitioning space on sbd2 as extended it show 3GB space, it look like sbd2 external hard drive?

The pen was not format,

My Laptop has NO internal drive,

So now boot up Zorin 7 DVD with pen in,

Zorin 7 setup partitioning on the pen for me,

Is this where I have gone wrong.

I do not mind to restarting over.

Thank

Your sbd2 is an extended partition showing 3 Gb in total - this is taken up by sbd5 - your swap area! :D

(Indicated by that 'down triangle' which means sbd2 has been 'expanded' (you get a 'cross' in Windows) to show what it contains.

Hi,

if I were you, I would start fully from scratch again and follow the partitioning guide I posted, it explains how to create partitions for different scenarios, you need to spend a bit of time reading through it!.
