Hi,

assuming you are using a 64 Bit version of Zorin (which you didn't tell us btw), download the driver from here:

http://jas.gemnetworks.com/debian/pool/ ... _amd64.deb

You will need a working network cable connection to do this, once downloaded, right click the package > open with and select either Ubuntu Software Center or Gdebi.

Let us know if it helps. I am sure Madvinegar will be along to give you further advice soon.

Did you select to install 3rd party software when you did the install?, have you tried a full system update running "DPKG" per this guide:

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2247

A network cable is required for the above to work!.

What version of Zorin are you using?.

Hi. First we need to identify the ID of your card so as to see which drivers you need.
Please post back the results of the following commands:

lspci -nn | grep 0280
lsusb
sudo lshw -c network
sudo rfkill list all

Hi,

please do not mix 'N' match your questions on any one thread, you already have another thread about your graphics card, please stick to it, answer MV's question first and work from there please.

Did you try the drivers I suggested?.

Your question about themes can be answered on the main Zorin page:

http://www.zorin-os.com/

Ok, thanx for the above.
I read that your wireless card is supported by the latest kernels and it will probably need the wl driver.
You say in your first post that you try to enable the proprietary driver but it is not possible. Do you have internet on your laptop when you do that?

Please plug an ethernet cable to your laptop (connect it with your router) to get internet and then run the following commands:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo modprobe wl

If all goes well, you should have a working wireless connection.

If not, we will do it manually following this post: http://askubuntu.com/questions/175104/h ... -3460-3560

Sure, it was just like progress bar start from 1% then go to 7% and stop.... And then nothing happen, Internet was on...
Ok i'll try what you type and send a feedback to you
