I tried to install the nvidia drivers and now when I boot up I have a black bar on top of the dock and the theme is missing close button (x) on applications.

Is there any way I can revert?

Thanks a lot

Hi kadifi,

did you follow this guide using the PPA for your Nvidia drivers?:

To fix your panel, take a look at the post install guide and this section "More info about the AWN (Avant Window Manger)". This is assuming you are using the AWN Win7 look in Zorin!.

To remove the Nvidia drivers, open a terminal and paste this command and then restart and update your system afterwards:

Code:
sudo apt-get remove nvidia-current nvidia-settings

Ideally the above command should be done at root level in the recovery menu, start your PC in "Recovery Mode" and activate "Network" (a network cable is required!) then click on "root" and enter the command, restart your PC with Ctrl + Alt + Del, don't click on "Resume"!.

Let us know if this helps.
