Installing Google Earth

I'm trying to switch the office over to Zorin for some of the users, one of the apps we all rely upon is Google Earth. Can anyone explain why when I install the .deb file, I get prompted about ten times if I trust the file and have to click on "Install" over and over? I'm a Windows guy myself, so I'm used to getting prompted once and clicking install and then it installs. Should I have any worries that I have to click on install so many times?

Hi,

very simple, it is because the package for the Google Earth app comes from an external source and the system is trying to protect you, click on the downloaded package and Right Click > Open With > Gdebi and enter your password!.

Normally you shouldn't have to click on "Mark as trusted" more than once!.

If you put an icon on the desktop, you must do the same!. Right click desktop icon > Permissions > Allow executing!
