Hey guys, I cant seem to get the wifi to work on my gateway. Its the M-6752 model. I've checked the repositorie settings for the driver.
I also downloaded the windows driver, and extracted every inf file, but none of them worked with the windows wireless drivers application.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,

start your PC in recovery mode and first activate "Network" the drop to "root" and type the following command EXACTLY as is and press enter:

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

Restart your PC with Ctrl + Alt + Del, do not click on resume!.

A NETWORK CABLE IS REQUIRED FOR THE ABOVE TO WORK!.

Let us know how you get on.

For further questions regarding this matter, wait for madvinegar as he is the WiFi champion!.

From the above results I do not see any wireless adapter. I only see two ethernet adapters.

Can you please post back the results of the following commands:

lspci -nn | grep 0280
lsusb
sudo lshw -c network
sudo rfkill list all
