Look Changer wont switch to Gnome 2 look

I tested out Zorin OS and I liked it a lot. What got me to want to switch that was a major difference from Mint was the look changer and it worked fine before the install on a USB drive. After the install I get this (http://i.imgur.com/PUtpNqx.png) when trying to change to either Win XP or Gnome 2.

I can't seem to find any info on google(I'm also pretty bad at searching, but I'm usually able to find the answers).

If anyone could help, thank you.

Hi,

firstly run this terminal command and restart after updating:

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

Try it again and let us know if it helps.

Thanks for the link. I went through and tried some of the things in there, but nothing helped.

Hi,

I know you mentioned a USB install but did you install to the hard drive or just the USB stick?, your pic shows that it is missing files and that is why it cannot load the Gnome panel?.

You can try running DPKG per the guide I posted earlier, A NETWORK CABLE IS REQUIRED.

Other than that, I can only suggest yyou do a new install if updating or running DPKG won't work.

If you used a disk, did you burn it at the slowest possible speed?:

Let us know what happens please.

I installed onto the hard disk. Everything worked fine before the install while I was testing it out.

I already tried the DPKG. I'll try reinstalling.

Thanks for the help.
