Hi There I seem to have run into a couple of problems after a easy install. I am running a Lifebook A Series with a I3 core processor.
These are the problems I have encountered
(1) Everytime I reboot the computer I have to adjust the brightness.
(2) Everytime I rebbot anything that was pinned to the bottom bar dissapears
(3) The config where desktop adjustments can be made is empty
(4) Unable to get wireless printer working but I can work around this.

Hi,

run "DPKG" per this guide first:

A NETWORK CABLE IS REQUIRED FOR THE ABOVE TO WORK!.

For problems with the AWN panel, see this section in the post install guide: "More info about the AWN (Avant Window Manger)"

What printer do you have?.

Let us know how you get on.

There could be other issues that affect your lifebook too - it could be a kernel issue - check options for overheating issues here:
