This may not be the right place for this, but what are some of you guys using with Zorin for HTPC setups? Are you able to flawlessly use HDMI to get both your audio and video in 7.1? Do you prefer AMD or Intel for this?
The reason I am asking, I am looking at trying to build one for a family member, and they have never had a computer. I plan on using XBMC as the default session, so they don't have to go select it. I am also planning on using an IR media remote for them to control it with.
Just wanting some feedback from you guys.
