(SOLVED) no updates lately

I used to get updates once per week, but over the last 3 weeks or so there have been no updates. Is this normal? I have checked update manager and i hit check, and it says no updates. I find this strange

I got rather large one yesterday (12 totaling 170MB) with 6.4 LTS.

Hi,

try changing your software sources download location and try updating again, it should be set to "Main", if you are however having problems with that connection, change it per the update guide:

I tried the safe mode boot ect, when it tried to do an update in recovery, it said no updates, but when it rebooted, and i ran the udates command like it said to in the link you gave it, it did update. Do you think i should also update my nvidia drivers or should i leave it. I have it on the recommended drivers

Hi,

no; leave as is, I have found that the recommended drivers are the best for Nvidia cards.
