[SOLVED] Default video driver ?

If I install Zorin 6 and I don't activate/install nvidia drivers on my laptop which has nvidia graphic card - which drivers for video does it use ?

Hi,

it uses the "Nouveua driver:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Binar ... wto/Nvidia

If you do want to use the Nvidia drivers, use only the recommended version per this guide:

I wanted to use Nvidia but I have to same problem as other users, that is "blank windows".
This problem sit's there since ages, and hasn't been fixed yet. I remember adding to open bug on lunchpad more than year ago
Maybe I will be able to at least update Nouveau...

Hi birkopf,

is this solved now?, if you read through the Nvidia guide, it tells you to disable the "Focus Animation" switch in Compiz!.
