Hello every body:

Can any of you tell me how can I activate the 'Bloq Num' when I start Linux Zorin Lite 7.01 ??

I used win at work (boss :( ) and with it the BLOQ NUM key is activated by default when the pc starts...

How can I do this with my Linux (please, explain it step by step, and dont give me the Lubuntu guide as reference, because I can't find it there)

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Hi,

as soon as you start your PC, press the key which will open BIOS for you and look at the settings, somewhere in BIOS is the switch for turning it off/on automatically, once found and changed, press F10 to save and exit (normally on most PC's with BIOS) and restart your PC.

Hope it helps.

@Wolfman.... I think this is not the solution, because I have dual boot and when I boot into Windows the number button is activated by default.... but I'll try your solution

Try this command and then reboot
Code:
sudo apt-get install numlockx
Or install numlockx via softwarecenter or synaptic and reboot
