I am making a new Zorin installation and my screen always goes black after 10 minutes of inaction although I set it to ;Never' in Power settings. I believe there is a box that needs to be unchecked also in the screensaver settings to keep the screen up. But I cannot find the screensaver settings. Can you please remind me.

Main Menu > System Settings > Brightness & Lock !!!!
You should want your settings to be exactly like my screenshot to solve your problem.

Hi whs,

also open Dconf Editor and take out the tick:

Dconf Editor > Org > Gnome > Desktop > Screensaver > idle-activation-enabled

Another thing is to paste the following command in a terminal and then start "Startup Aplications" and take the tick out of "Screensaver":

Code:
sudo sed -i 's/NoDisplay=true/NoDisplay=false/g' /etc/xdg/autostart/*.desktop

Thanks Wolfman for the additional info. My screen stays up now since I applied the settings that Gizmuntu posted.

In my startups I have nothing other than the VMwarte tools. In Mint I usually have a gezillion starups. Zorin is really good at that. In Windows I always disable all startups except the AV program and my dock.
