How do I connect to wifi I saw the setting I just want to look at local ones to choose mine.

Hi,

left click the network icon symbol and then select your WiFI network add your security password (normally on your router along with the SSID) and that is it basically!.

If you need drivers, see the vids below, the top one is for Zorin 6 and the bottom one Zorin 8.

I tried to setup my wifi and it said ssid i put in then went to password and entered it and it didn't do anything i saved it and everything.
this is zorin os 8
please help!!!

When you left-click on the network icon (right side of the panel next to the clock), do you see the list of the available networks?
If yes, choose your network and it will ask you to insert only the password.

Could you please open terminal (ctrl+alt+T) and post back here the results of the following commands:

lspci -nn | grep 0280
lsusb
sudo lshw -c network
sudo rfkill list all

Plug an ethernet cable to get internet. Then open terminal and run the following commands the one after the other, pressing <enter> after each one.

Code:
sudo apt-get remove --purge bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter
sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
sudo modprobe -r b43
sudo modprobe b43

Is your wireless working now? If not, you may also have to reboot.
