I installed zorin os 8 with a usb and I am wondering if I can remove it at anytime.

Hi,

yes you can remove it anytime, you just need to redo the MBR again once you remove it, see this thread about partitioning and how to repair the MBR (Master Boot Record) afterwards:

If you are booting off of the USB, then no you should not remove it. If you installed onto local harddisk using USB, then after the install is complete, then you can remove the USB.
