Firefox Doesn't Close

I'm using Zorin 7. Sometimes when I try to access my Firefox I get the message that it's already running. I have to open my system monitor and kill the Firefox process before I can access my browser. Is this a known bug? I have had no such trouble with other Linux OS's.

I have stoppe using 7/7.1 as it is no longer supported for updates (just like the core OS it is based on, Ubuntu 13.04). You should migrate to 8 or drop to Long-Term-Support release of Zorin 6! :D

Hi,

are you double clicking the icon on the panel, if you are you will open a 2nd instance of Firefox!.

Try running this terminal command and see if it helps:

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade -f

Let us know if it helps.
