Hello! I installed the 64-bit Zorin 8 to my less-than-one-year-old HP laptop (16G RAM, 1T drive) the other day. The installation process was very similar to Linux Mint, which is what I have used for over a year now. Problem: after the install and reboot, the login screen did not appear to allow me to login as the user I had created during the install process. It instead logged me in as Guest. I did not realize this until I tried to do my first update, and Zorin told me that my userid (Guest) was not allowed to do the update. I then logged out and got back to the login screen. Again, I could not login as anything but Guest. I rebooted and tried again.....same thing.
Do I need to do something different? Or is there a bug?
