Hi
I'm a new user of Zorin 8 and any linux based OS in general. I have a problem with the bottompanel and the start menu. I can't access either by any click (right or left) - I can see them, they are greyed out. The problem happened, when I rightclicked on the bottompanel and chose visibility level 2.

Since I have nothing except minecraft and home on the desktop I can only access systemssettings, where I have found nothing. Hope somebody can help.

Hi,

open a terminal with Ctrl + Alt + t and paste the following command:

Code:
sudo apt-get purge avant-window-manager && sudo apt-get install avant-window-manager

This should remove and reinstall AWN to a bog standard new one.

You should restart with Ctrl + Alt + Del + Restart and see if it fixes the problem!.

Let us know if this helps.

Regards Wolfman :D
