Zorin Look Changer Gnome2

Hi fellow Zorinistas,

I use the Gnome look for my desktop.
In the bottom left corner is the 4 desktop windows applet, which you can toggle between.
Unfortunately, when I toggle into the second desktop window, the screen completely goes blank, and I can't get out of it, hence a reboot.

Now, just to clarify, I use a dual monitor setup.
I've checked the Compiz>General Settings>Windows section, though there are 4 windows displayed, the setting is set to null, I change it to any other number, I go back and have a look, the changed number is not persisted.

I'm wondering if other people are having this issue?
