[RESOLVED] can't hear email messages

Hi
using Zorin 8 ultimate when I try to listen to my magicjack phone messages that I get in my email ,it is all garble, can't understand it. sound works fine when I play a cd or when I listen to a youtube video. it doesn't matter if I use
firefox or google chrome. this computer is an amd but I also have the same problem with my acrer , would be nice if I didn't have to go back to windows every time I want to hear the message.
