Is the Epson V33 scanner compatible with this operating system and if so any help on it would be great.

Hi,

open System Settings > Hardware > Printers then click on the "+" (plus) sign and add the printer, did you have the printer switched on and attached when you installed the OS?.

This is a bit old but should still apply:

See the printer section here also:

Let us know if it helps.

Hi Wolfman, jbb has a scanner - not an all-in-one! :D

Having checked here:

http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html

I cannot see it being listed - only the V700 and V750 appear to work.

Hi,

as Swarf has pointed out, it doesn't appear to be supported, I looked on the Epson site and just drew a blank on Linux drivers for that model!. I also searched other forums and can only find links to Epson and the run-around!.

If you are in the market fot a new scanner, get one from HP as they have excellent Linux support!.

If you want to be certain, go to that link I gave you which lists ALL manufacturers and concentrate on those graded as COMPLETE! :D
