Zorin OS8 and Insync

I use Insync to access my Google Docs account. After I upgraded from OS7 to OS8, I noticed that clicking on the Insync icon in the status bar did not bring up the expected dialog. By trial and error I found that opening the AWN preferences and moving the bar orientation to the top of the screen restored the dialog. Subsequently moving the bar back to the bottom made things normal. This happens every time the system is re-booted and, following the bar move to the top and back to the bottom, stays normal until the next reboot. When the dialog is missing it seems to be opening just out of sight below the status bar, since I can see about 1 or 2 pixels of the top of the Insync dialog. I've posted this problem on the Insync forum about 10 days ago with no response so far.

You could look at replacing AWN with Docky.

Code:
sudo apt-get install docky
