Applications not opening.

Installed Zorin OS several weeks ago. Worked fine. Opened applications. They worked. Today when i started the os it opened but the applications won't.

Hi Larry, and welcome to Zorin! :D Sorry to hear of your issues. Open a terminal (Accessories | Terminal) and enter:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade


Leave the terminal open and see if any applications open. If not:

sudo dpkg --configure -a
