[MOVED] RESTORE POINT ?

I'vd just loaded Zorin 8 into VMware virtual machine & had success with the full installation .. how am I able to create a system restore point & also to use this to return to an earlier time ?

also ... will running Ccleaner have any effect on the Zorin system ?

and .. what is " Unity " in Zorin and is it necessary ?

Hi, I think you have answered the question already! As you are running in a Virtual Machine environment I suspect you should be able to take a 'snapshot' like Virtual Box does.

ccleaner should not have an issue - unless of course it highlights your VM software for removal?

"unity" is basically (:-> = sarcastic smile) Docky or Cairo-Dock or the AWN Panel hiding to the left of your screen - when you move your mouse over to the left side of your screen, the 'unity' dock pops out (like what Windows 8.1 does! with its "Search, Settings etc. panel" - except its dock is hidden on the right! :lol:
