Hi

I got another problem ... hehe

My laptop is with ventuinha connected all the time.
Heating, and the processor out hot air.

This strange process happens only in zorin 8. in windows it works normally.

How can we solve this little problem?

thank you

GNU/Linux in general can overheat and stress Notebook components, dependent on what kernel is being used. I found LXLE to be cooler than Zorin in terms of running temperature.

Ventuinha = cooler

Actually I read about the story of people not reporting their overheating.
But found nothing to respeiro to solve the problem.

My cooler is active all the time to the maximum.
The temperature increase too.

The result of lspci-nnk | grep VGA-IA3

paulo@Paulo-PC:~$ lspci -nnk | grep -iA3 VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0046] (rev 18)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0046]
Kernel driver in use: i915
00:1a.0 USB controller [0c03]: Intel Corporation 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset USB2 Enhanced Host Controller [8086:3b3c] (rev 06)

I appreciate all the attention to solve all problems.

Thus we evolved together. :)

Thank you.

Hi
Today I realized that when connecting the power supply it stays cooler in constant use.
It immediately begins to connect the power to turn off the power to it to increase the oscillation cooler and just chilling and cool finish after about 1 minute it goes back to normal.

Does this observation may help solve the problem?

Sought active processes but do not know what would be the process that is making it happen.

Let another big problem for experts.

laughs ....

thank you

Just to get an idea of the temps.
Open terminal and run
Code:
sudo apt-get install lm-sensors
yes | sudo sensors-detect

then
Code:
watch -n1 sensors

You will be watching live the temps of your notebook. Let it go to idle and see how low it gets.

I see from your screenshot that for some reason the cpu usage increases a lot. What are you doing at that moment? Are you watching a video etc?

I'm doing nothing!
It increases when I put the power supply cable and make it decreases.

I just get the cable from the source it back to normal. Put it fires again.
