ok im new at all this linux ubuntu zorin stuff

other sites call my moves noob i call it learning

ok i tried two ways of driver install the tar and the run

the sites i used i copy and pasted (sorry i grew up dos when home pcs first came out the 50 pounders)

and it to hard and late to be getting all confuse on linux so i use hp ubuntu and zorin forums to paste terminal commands i lear a little but dont want to get into what all that means

ok to the point both ways went great i got the control panel it reads the status asleep whatever it scans But it will not print

Details I hit print it spools paper in then the jam ink lights come on no matter what it wont print

More Details i have downloaded the most current driver on hp site in setup i use ubuntu 13 or whatever i read zorin 8 is built on

but i have seen its the wrong driver its a 1050 mine is 1056 even the current hp site only has 1050 in my windows exp if it dont match this has always happened

this printer works fine in my dual boot 7 side no problems or errors just zorin side has problems (two separate split apart partitions with zorin grub menu selection)

i guess im stuck with a scanner and have to us 7 to print
