Hello all,

I cant install my wifi printer/scanner. It's a canon pixma mg 6350.

I already tried the method described here: http://ubuntuportal.com/2011/12/how-to- ... buntu.html
(used this command in the terminal: sudo apt-get install cnijfilter-mg6300series)

The terminal gives me this message: cnijfilter-mg6300series is reeds de nieuwste versie. (cnijfilter-mg6300series is already the newest version.) which makes me think the drive is installed....
But printing is not working...

some help highly appreciated :)

Hi gagaman, and welcome to Zorin!

No guarantees, but try this:

1. Open a terminal (Menu | Accessories | Terminal or Ctrl+ Alt+ T).

2. Enter the following:
Code:
system-config-printer

3. On the interface that opens, click on 'Add Printer' - search for the Printer driver from the list that appears depending on whether local or network. Once installed, click on 'Options' and make your self a person who is allowed to print by adding your login name (gagaman?)
