is 2x not slow enough. and also i try booting in a virtual machine oricle virtual box and still the exact same error. write speed could effect but i dont have to burn to a vm. also ran out of disks and would be cheeper to get disk version.

Did you check the md5 sum of the download? You should download using Firefox with 'DownThemAll!' add-on which has a built in md5 checker! :D

OK, did you download to a Linux Box or a windows one?

If Windows, download md5free from winmd5.com and install. Then drag the .iso you downloaded into the appropriate place and let it do it's thing, then paste back the md5 hash it produces.

If GNU/Linux, open a terminal, navigate to where you downloaded (if Downloads then):

Code:
cd Downloads

then

Code:
md5sum [space after md5 sum then enter the full name of the iso including the extension .iso at the end

Again copy and paste into a response to this thread.

Also can you provide a copy of the md5 sum given by Zorin? Many thanks.

HI, I am pretty sure that the website md5 is correct but there has been issues in the past I will flag this thread with AZorin and zorink and ask for guidance. :D

We would recommend you to download Zorin OS without the use of any third-party download managers as they are known to sometimes corrupt the download files. Please make sure you are using either Google Chrome or Firefox to download the file.
